Shoot day timeline
Build your shoot day as time blocks, drop in shots, and run the day from a live schedule everyone can see moving.
What it's for
Run the day from one live schedule.
Shoot days run on a schedule that usually lives on paper, printed the night before, out of date by the second setup, invisible to anyone not holding it.
In prepros, the timeline is live: time blocks hold your shots and activities, the current block counts down, finished items get checked off, and anything running late turns red—for everyone, including the shared link.
Blocks & shots
Schedule shots from your shotlists into timed blocks, with durations and start times.
Live on set
A running clock and countdown on the active block; late blocks flag themselves red.
Feeds the call sheet
Link the timeline to a call sheet and the schedule prints block by block.
How teams use it
01
Build the blocks
Lay out the day as time blocks: looks, setups, moves, lunch.
02
Drop in the shots
Pull shots from any shotlist into their block; add activities alongside.
03
Run the day
Check items off as you go — progress shows live, even on the shared link.
A timeline for every shoot day
By setup
Block the day by setup and count each one down.
Client view
Share a live link so the agency can watch progress.
Late, early
Blocks that run over turn red before the day slips.
Multi-day
One timeline per day—Day 1, Day 2, and on.
Company moves
Schedule moves and turnarounds as activity blocks.
Linked call sheet
The day's sheet prints the timeline automatically.
Loose days
Flexible blocks for days that refuse a plan.
Small crews
One phone on set is enough to keep the day honest.
Wrap record
Checked-off items double as the record of what you got.
