Create your workspace

Set up prepros in a few minutes and get your first production ready for the team.

A prepros workspace is the home for everything your team makes — every production, moodboard, shotlist, and call sheet lives inside it. This guide walks through creating one and setting up your first shoot.

Create your account

Head to the sign-up page and create your account with your work email. You can start for free — no credit card required — and invite the rest of your team once your workspace is set up.

  1. Go to app.prepros.co/register and enter your email.
  2. Confirm your address from the verification email we send you.
  3. Name your workspace — usually your studio, brand, or agency name.

Tip

Name the workspace after your studio or brand — it is what your crew sees on every invite.

Start your first production

A production is a single shoot or project. Everything you plan — references, shots, crew, budget — is organized under it.

Add the essentials

  • Brief — a short statement of what the shoot is for.
  • Moodboard — pull references so the direction is clear before day one.
  • Shotlist — the frames you need, with must-haves flagged.

Invite your crew

Bring in your team and assign roles so everyone sees what's relevant to them. Producers get the full picture; photographers and stylists get the shots and looks. Share the call sheet and everyone knows where to be and when.
