Share a resource
Send anyone a live view of your work—no prepros account needed—with a link you control.
Almost everything in prepros can be shared outside your team as a read-only page: moodboards, storyboards, styling boards, shotlists, callsheets, timelines, and locations. The person you send it to just opens a link.
Create a share link
- Open the resource and choose Share.
- Pick the access level: Anyone with the link, or Password protected.
- Optionally set an expiry (an hour to 90 days) and/or a view limit.
- Copy the link and send it however you like.
Tip
The link always shows the current version. Updating the resource updates what viewers see, so you never re-send a file.
What outside viewers see
Shared pages are read-only, and prepros keeps internal details internal: a shared crew list hides emails, phone numbers, fees, and notes. Some shares capture your current filters and sorting, so the viewer sees the view you set up.
Manage your links
Every link tracks how many times it's been viewed. You can revoke a link at any time without deleting the resource. Anyone opening it afterward is turned away. If you'd rather keep things internal, use Notify team to ping your production members instead of creating a public link.
