Documents
Organize production documents
Contracts, releases, permits, and invoices, filed with the production they belong to, with owners and due dates attached.
Production paperwork scatters into inboxes and shared drives exactly when someone on set needs it. In prepros, documents live on the production, typed and trackable.
File a document
- Create a document on your production and give it a type: invoice, contract, insurance, usage rights, permit, release, or other.
- Attach the files — multiple per document, in the formats paperwork actually arrives in: PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, even design files.
- Add notes and a description so it's findable by search later.
Make it someone's job
Documents carry a workflow: status (not started → in progress → complete), priority, progress, and due dates, and you can assign them to teammates.
Tip
Group the documents list by type or status for an instant compliance check before the shoot. Every permit and release visible in one screen.
Find and share
Search by name or notes, filter by type/status/priority, and bulk-update when a batch closes out.
