Run your location search as a pipeline. From scouting shortlist to booked, with every detail where the team can find it.
Location logistics are where shoot days quietly fall apart. In prepros, each location is a full record on the production, and its status turns your search into a visible pipeline.
Build the shortlist
- Add each candidate as a location: name, address, and a description or overview.
- Upload images. Galleries support multiple photos, drag-and-drop, reordering, and a featured image.
- Capture the logistics: contact person (name, phone, email), parking, access notes, and the fee.
Track the pipeline
Move each location through its statuses: scouting → pending → confirmed → booked (and completed or cancelled after the fact). Priority and progress fields help when you're juggling many options.
Tip
Give locations their dates early. Location days appear as colored bands on your production calendar, keyed to status, so holds and bookings are visible at a glance.
Put it to work
- The fee feeds your budget, so location costs show up without retyping.
- Assign a teammate to a location and they're notified in-app.
- Attach locations to callsheets (address and parking print on the sheet) and to individual shots.
- Share a location page with a link for sign-off. Contact details stay private to your team.
